Youth
Welcome to 'Connection Point', the youth ministry at Rocky Hock Baptist Church.
Here at 'Connection Point' we strive to first and foremost CONNECT students to God through a relationship with His Son Jesus Christ. We also encourage our students to CONNECT and build relationships with others that will lead to opportunities for them to share their faith.
'Connection Point' meets every Wednesday and Sunday evening at 7pm in the fellowship hall of RHBC. On Wednesday evenings, Pastor Tracy teaches on topics that are relevant to teenagers today. These messages are usually in series form and each series lasts between four to six weeks. These series come alive to our students through the pre-message skits and games that are played almost every week.
On Sunday evenings, Pastor Tracy teaches through books of the Bible. This allows students to know the contents of God's word and how they can apply the different principles found within to their everyday lives.
'Connection Point' also does many other fun things throughout the year such as: mission trips, game nights, 'The Barn Bash', Fall Festival, student choir, seasonal parties, and fun over night trips.
Also new for 2012 is 'Connection Point Cafe' 'Connection Point Cafe' is a ministry that has been developed to minister to the homeless and needy in our area. when someone comes to Connection Point Cafe they will be given a free meal and a chance to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Connection Point Cafe will operate once a month in the church fellowship hall.
We believe the Word of God to be inerrant, infallible, and totally inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible to be God's love letter to us all and the instruction manual for how we are to live our lives in a way that is pleasing to Him. We would love to invite you to come and be a part of what God is doing in our student's lives here at 'Connection Point'.
